Braxton in Hospital

Soul star Toni Braxton has been hospitalised in Los Angeles after her immune system started to shut down.

The Un-Break My Heart singer suffered some painful "flare ups" stemmingfrom her Lupus condition, which attacks the body's healthy tissue.

But Braxton tells TMZ.com she'll be fine after a little rest.

She tells the website, "I wanted to say thanks to all my fans for theirsupport, as I have been experiencing some flare ups with my Lupus which has me in the hospital for a few days.

"I wanted to clear the record before rumours started, and I will totally be fine as I'm blessed to having an amazing family for support".

Braxton, who also suffers from microvascular angina, first opened up about her struggle with Lupus last year (11).
