Travis are to release an EP on their own record label. The Scottish band will put out the as-yet untitled release through their Red Telephone Box label. The 'Writing to Reach You' hitmakers put their first single, 'All I Wanna Do Is Rock' out on the label in 1996.As with that release, frontman Fran Healy is designing the artwork for the new EP.It will be sold on vinyl and download and features songs 'J . Smith', 'Get Up' and 'Sarah'.Frontman Fran Healy says the track is a "treat" for fans, not an official release. He said: "This isn't the official first single, rather a little ripple in the water before Godzilla awakens."Fans will be able to pay extra on the band's official website to order a signed copy of the release.
Travis bring out their next album, 'Ode to J Smith', in the autumn. It is the follow-up to 2007's comeback record 'The Boy With No Name' and will be the band's sixth studio album.
