Twain Stalker To Stand Trial

Shania Twain's stalker will stand trial in Toronto, Canada on Friday (April 1st) after appearing at the Juno Awards last Sunday.

Dr. John Palumbo, 50, was arrested outside Toronto's Air Canada Centre, where Twain was being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during the annual awards show.

The physician was told to stay at least 500 yards away from the singer at a hearing on March 7th.

According to Canadian media reports, Palumbo has had a long-standing delusional obsession with the singer.

Twain's induction into the Hall of Fame stems from a successful career in country music - her 1997 album Come on Over is the best-selling album of all time by a female singer.
