UB40 keyboard player Michael Virtue has quit the band. The 51-year-old musician announced he is following lead singer Ali Campbell - who left the group in January - by resigning due to concerns over the reggae stars' management team.He said: "I can no longer work with the management team and I am joining Ali Campbell in his investigation into the handling of the band's business affairs. I am very upset to be leaving the band who have felt like family for the last 30 years, but feel this was the only option left open to me."Virtue revealed he contacted Campbell last week to discuss their issues with the management, the first time any of the band had spoken to him since the last UB40 concert in Uganda in February. He has since had a meeting with legal team Hextalls LLP, who also represent Campbell. When announcing his decision to leave the band Campbell cited ongoing "intolerable management difficulties".
