Ali Campbell is still not speaking to his brothers and former bandmates UB40.The singer left the reggae outfit in January this year after becoming unhappy with their management, and was later replaced by his brother Duncan. When the news was announced, Ali's brother Robin - who plays guitar in the band - revealed they were no longer on speaking terms. Now, six months later, relations are still tense in the family.Robin told BANG Showbiz: "I don't think Ali was very happy about Duncan joining but he still hasn't spoken to me since he left."I'm sure it's put the rest of the family in a very awkward position because he hasn't spoken to Duncan either. But we've got a very supportive family, they're supportive of both parties and won't take sides."Robin also revealed that Duncan was always first choice as replacement singer - despite snubbing the band's invitation to join when they first started out.

Robin added: "We did actually consider other people, but that was only if Duncan said no, and when I asked him, which was almost immediately after Ali left, he jumped at the chance. He was actually asked to join the band when we first started. But he thought nothing would come of it.

"He thought we'd never get anywhere so he wasn't really interested. I think he'd been kicking himself for 30 years."
