Victoria Beckham left The Spice Girls' musical launch in London after just an hour on Tuesday (26Jun12) so she could catch a flight back to Los Angeles to put her baby daughter to bed.
The singer-turned-designer jetted to England to join her bandmates Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown at the St.
Pancras Renaissance Hotel to promote upcoming stage show Viva Forever, which opens in the U.K. capital in December (12).
But Beckham made a speedy exit from the event in order to be back at home in the U.S. for 11-month-old daughter Harper's bedtime.
She told Britain's Daily Mirror, "I'd love to stay and hang out with the girls but I'm desperate to see her before she goes to bed.
"I have to race home for bedtime", but added to The Sun "It's worth making the trip (to Britain) because I think the show will be something to be proud of".
Speaking about the musical, Beckham insists she has high hopes for its future "Who knows where it will go next? It would be great if it could become a film".
