A Los Angeles judge has issued a bench Warrant for the arrest of rocker Wes Scantlin after he missed a scheduled court appearance relating to drug charges.
The Puddle of Mudd frontman pleaded guilty to cocaine possession last month (Jul12) and agreed to enrol in a drug counselling programme as part of a plea deal following a January (12) arrest.
He was ordered to return to court on Wednesday (08Aug12) to show proof of his drug treatment, but he failed to appear, resulting in the judge signing off on a bench Warrant.
However, the warrant has been placed on hold until 17 August (12), when Scantlin will have one more chance to show or become a wanted man, reports Eonline.com.
Scantlin copped to the possession charge in exchange for prosecutors dropping two misdemeanour counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a licence.
