Walsh Accuser Charged Over Attack Allegation

A 24-year-old man has been charged with falsely accusing Irish music mogul Louis Walsh of indecently assaulting him earlier this year (11).

Leonard Watters alleged Walsh, who serves as a judge on Simon Cowell's British reality show The X Factor, groped him at Krystle nightclub in Dublin, Ireland following a Westlife concert in April (11).

The TV star vehemently denied the allegations and the investigation wasdropped after just four days.

On Tuesday (28Jun11) Watters was taken into police custody to face questioning - and on Wednesday (29Jun11) he was charged with making a false report to cops.

Watters was granted bail on condition he refrains from contacting Walshor any of the Westlife bandmembers.
