Brian May, Adam Lambert & Roger Taylor

Adam Lambert is gearing up for one of the biggest tours of his career, as this summer he'll take to arenas throughout North America as part of Queen.

“At first it was a little daunting when we did our first incarnation of this. I definitely felt apprehensive. Freddie Mercury is one of the greatest singers that ever lived, and he’s a big idol for me, and I thought to myself, you know I hope that the fans dig this, you know, because there is a possibility that they wouldn’t. And it felt really good. The reception was warm, the press reaction to it the first time was very warm,” he said.

This of course isn't the first time Adam is fronting the group, after performances with Queen at Las Vegas' 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival and a 2012 European tour.

Brian May and Roger Taylor have heaped praise on the star ever since they started working with him, and are only focusing on the positive rather than the negative and those who think it isn't the best decision.

Queen and Adam Lambert's 19 date tour kicks off in Chicago on June 19 and ends July 20 in Washington DC.
