Alesha Dixon has blasted the critics who are going crazy over her rendition of the national anthem at the British Grand Prix over the weekend.

Twitter users claimed the singer got the words wrong while she performed 'God Save the Queen' on Sunday July 5, with others saying she was putting on an American accent.

Dixon took to her own Twitter account to address journalists and viewers, writing:

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton went on to win the British Grand Prix from pole at Silverstone, with Alesha later posing with the winner for a photo now on her Instagram account.
