The 16-year-old singer/songwriter claims touring has opened his eyes to the world and has taught him life lessons which would never have been possible if he was stuck in the classroom.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm learning so much on the road. To be fair, I've learned more on the road than I have in school and it's just crazy, I've learned a lot more kind of life skills definitely."

The 'Britain's Got Talent' alumni recently returned to the UK after a 25-date tour of the United States and was overwhelmed to see the reaction from fans when he covered 'Don't' by Ed Sheeran, as girls would "scream for a straight five minutes".

He recalled: "The reaction I got from the fans was a bit mental compared to the reaction I get over here.

"I sang 'Don't' by Ed Sheeran, because it's by an English songwriter and gives people an idea of my sound. I'd sing that first song and then I'd introduce myself 'Hey guys I'm Bailey McConnell from the UK' and I kid you not, they would scream for a straight five minutes. Then I'd talk and they'd be screaming 'oh my gawwwd'. It was amazing."

The musician is currently on tour in the UK and will release his hotly anticipated single 'Crystalise' on September 11 (https://itun.es/gb/LGnv9).
