The 24-year-old pop beauty has hinted that she may share her as-yet-untitled third record with her fans if she "gets bored" before it is due to be released in May.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show, she said: "I'm sure I'll just get bored and leak the whole thing before then anyway."

The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker recently dropped lead single 'After the Afterparty' and told BANG Showbiz the record is "going to be out in May next year".

Asked what to expect from the follow-up to 2014's 'Sucker', she said: "My songs are club party songs that's the vibe."

Meanwhile, Charli recently admitted she doesn't care what people think of her.

Charli has taken Swedish singer Robyn's advice that she shouldn't worry too much about how others see her but simply focus on staying positive within herself.

She told NME magazine: "Robyn once told me to always be me, not worry about what other people think, and f**k everyone if they don't like it.

"To hear that from someone who I admired was so cool and comforting. Just do what makes you feel good and hang out with people you love and feel happy with ... I feel that equals good life vibes."

The 'Vroom Vroom' star has teamed up with both of her longtime collaborators SOPHIE and Stargate for her new record.

The 'Doing It' singer said she got them together because she wanted to mix their different styles to make a record of "progressive pop music".

Charli feels it is important for artists to "shake things up" from time to time and has been incredibly inspired by some of her collaborators.

She previously said: "I think it always needs a shake up and I think multiple artists do that but I want to push it.

"I've been collaborating with people from PC Music so that's been very inspiring for me - the way they think about music and the way that they create music and transferring that into like a more pop realm is something that is cool and yeah, it's next level! I'm not really saying too much about it right now because I just want it to talk for itself. And it will."
