Collaborating with the wildly-talented Julia Michaels on their new single ‘I Miss You’, Clean Bandit returned this week with the music video for the track, which you can now watch below:
The band directed the video for their single themselves, shooting in both the UK and in Los Angeles, USA, allowing them to weave shots of the varying landscape with scenes of the group performing the track, culminating in infectious and addictive visuals that you’ll want to watch over and over again.
Performing on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, the group are ready to light the charts on fire once more following the huge success of their breakout hit ‘Rather Be’, featuring Jess Glynne back in January of 2014.
Since that point, the band’s line-up has gone through a small change with former member Neil Amin-Smith decided to depart the group in October, 2016. Fortunately for remaining members Grace Chatto and Jack and Luke Patterson, his leaving didn’t affect their success and they shot straight back into the charts in late 2016 with their song ‘Rockabye’, which would go on to become the Christmas Number One that year.
That success continued this year when the group collaborated with Zara Larsson and released ‘Symphony’, before dropping the studio version of their song ‘Disconnect’ with Marina and the Diamonds in June.
With no signs of slowing down, it’s clear that Clean Bandit are all about putting everything they have into their work no matter what obstacles they may face. After hearing their latest single, they should be right back at the top of the charts in no time and we imagine that’s something that will continue into the distant future.
