Ed Sheeran hopes that next year will see him sell out a concert at Wembley Stadium.

The singer's planning on pushing his career as far as he possibly can and though he admits it'd be extremely "expensive" to stage a gig at the venue, he thinks it would provide a major highlight and memory.

In an interview with GQ Magazine he explained: "I want to sell out Wembley. Just me and my guitar. 80,000 people. Solo. It'll be expensive but what a moment. Maybe next summer.

"I don't see the glass ceiling yet and I have never reached a point where I'm like, 'OK that's it, enough, I'm done.'

"It's about how big it can get and how many records I can sell and how big the fan base can really be."

He also admitted that he finds his new popularity "weird".

"Every single day something new happens that is utterly mental and I have to be like, 'What is going on?' So what amazes me is how far I can take it.

"This ginger kid with a small guitar being able to sell out arenas around the world is a really, really weird thing."
