The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star sent off an audition tape for the television series 'S Club Search' in 2001 in the hope of joining the young group - also known as S Club 8 - which was a spin-off of the popular 90s band S Club 7.

Speaking during an appearance on 'Safeword', she shared: "I auditioned to be in S Club Juniors. Obviously never made the band, because I would have been in it."

If she had of been accepted for the group, which ran from 2001 until 2005, she would have performed alongside the likes of band members Frankie Sandford, Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Rose Saville, and Rochelle Humes.

The 25-year-old beauty - who quit 'TOWIE' in February after a successful stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - also tried to land herself a part in 'Harry Potter' as Ron Weasley's lover however, that never happened either.

She said: "I also auditioned for a part in 'Harry Potter' to play Ron Weasley's girlfriend. And obviously didn't get that part either because I would have been in the 'Harry Potter' films."

There seems to be no end to Ferne's talents as she also performed on London's West End in 'The Great Gatsby' in April and recently revealed she is off to Hollywood next month to discuss a potential major role in a film featuring 'Suicide Squad' actress Margot Robbie.

She explained: "After my musical debut I found my calling - I just loved it, I want to act. I want to be in films. I went out to Cannes, I went last year, loved it, went back again, had a few meetings, have been offered a film role, going out to LA in July to talk more. No dream is too big guys! It almost seems a little too good to be true so we'll see."
