Gotye

Gotye

The Grammys took place last night in Los Angeles and it proved a great night for Mumford & Sons, Gotye and fun.

The biggest winners on the night though were The Black Keys and Gotye with the Ohio rock duet winning four Grammys, despite losing out on the two biggest prizes they were nominated for. Gotye home three awards from the shindig, including the much coveted Record Of The Year gong, with New York band fun. also netting two awards in the form of Song Of The Year and Best New Artist.

Thankfully no one dominated the proceedings quite to the same extent Adele did last year, with the awards slightly most spread out.

Kelly Clarkson, Skrillex and Adele were also amongst the winners, with Kanye and Jay-Z also picking up a duo of awards for their collaboration on the track ‘N****s In Paris’.

It proved a much less fruitful night for Frank Ocean, who missed out on the trio of major awards he was nominated for and was forced to console himself with a win for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
