The 'Say You Won't Let Go' hitmaker has already been chatting with the 'Shape of You' singer, 25, and the former One Direction hunk, also 25, about what they are going to do after the ceremony held at London's The O2 on February 22, and it sounds like it's going to get messy even if they don't win any gongs on the night.

James, 28, said: "I think I might go pretty hard at the after-party to be honest.

"It will just be so cool to be there, it's a great thing considering the journey I have been on.

"I am going to be celebrating regardless, just to be nominated is worth a few rinks - It's a huge achievement.

"I'm not taking anyone with, I will just go with the team.

"I spoke to Ed and Louis about the after-party already.

"I will be hitting it up with one of them two, I haven't decided yet who. Louis said he's down yeah, I think Ed is sticking around too.

"A few people have mentioned meeting up so let's see what happens."

The 'Impossible' singer - who won the ninth series of 'The X Factor' in 2012 - says he may even speak with other pop stars on the night about collaborations once he's had a few pints, but he doesn't want to seem like he is using them so he'd only pursue them if it came about naturally.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "Chatting to people after a few beers is a great idea, there are loads of people I wanna party with, see what they're up to.

"I think it's going to be one of those nights where you just bump into different artists, which is a really exciting prospect as I don't get that opportunity that much.

"I'm still climbing the ladder and I don't want to be seen to be trying to use people to get more recognition.

"If it happens organically, then great."

James has been nominated for Best British Single and Best Video for 'Say You Won't Let Go'.

Ed isn't shortlisted, but he will be performing on the night, and with James confirming Louis is attending there could be a special performance from the 'Just Hold On' star.
