The trio of pop stars descended onto Britain's Ocean City for the mini-festival and were joined by Raleigh Ritchie and Anne-Marie on Plymouth Hoe - the coastal location on which Sir Francis Drake played bowls 1588 before heading out to sea to defend England from the oncoming Spanish Armada.

Anne-Marie kicked off proceedings with her single 'Alarm' before giving the crowd a taste of what they can expect from her upcoming debut album and on Wednesday night (28.07.16) she took the opportunity to have a drink in a local pub and watch people do karaoke.

Jonas Blue had the crowd bouncing with his two monster hits 'Fast Car' and 'Perfect Strangers' and was joined by each track's respective vocalists, Dakota and JP Cooper.

'Game of Thrones' star Raleigh attempted to steal the show with an energetic set that included 'Bloodsport' and he got fans to high five a stranger and he also jumped into the crowd to dish out his own high fives but didn't realise how high the stage was and had to pull himself back up.

Jess came out to a huge reception and sang all of her hits, including 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself', 'Rather Be' - which she recorded with Clean Bandit - and 'Hold My Hand'.

Taking the headline slot, Rudimental powered through 'Waiting All Night', Not Giving In' and 'Bloodstream' and they lit up the sky with their eye-popping pyrotechnics. The boys brought along plenty of friends for the occasion, including their staple brass backing band and familiar face Anne-Marie.

MTV Crashes Plymouth continues on Friday (29.07.16) with Afrojack, Example, Tough Love and Sub Focus all performing.

MTV Crashes Plymouth is now in its third year and will be broadcast on MTV's flagship UK music TV channels.
