Jessica Simpson wants to get back into music.
The 'With You' hitmaker married her beau Eric Johnson last month in Montecito, California, and is now eager to get back into the recording studio and resume her career now that their wedding is out of the way.
A source told Us Weekly: "Jess loves being married."
The 34-year-old - who hasn't released any new material since her 'Happy Christmas' album in 2010 - has built a studio at her home and can't wait for her children, Maxwell, two, and Ace, 14 months, to be involved in the musical experience.
She said previously: "We're building a studio in our house. I bought a house from Ozzy Osbourne, so a lot of the studio was already set up. I want to see what comes out. It's time for me to find that out, and I can't wait for my kids to experience that with me. Even Eric. He's never seen me perform onstage."
Jessica also believes having her children at the studio with her will inspire her new sound.
She said: "I am setting up the sound in my studio [at home] right now."
She added: "Well, my kids are there, and they inspire me. They'll bring the music out of me."
