Speaking about her new track ‘Real Deal’ on her social media earlier this week, Jessie J wrote: “First single? Nah… This is just me getting warmed up”, along with an emoji of a rose. Now, she’s released the lyric video for the song, which you can check out below:
Jessie is of course one of the UK’s most impressive exports, having hit the top of the charts on multiple occasions with solo releases, along with big-name collaborations such as ‘Bang Bang’, which she worked with both Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj on.
Released earlier this month, ‘Real Deal’ is without a doubt a return to form for the singing sensation. Jessie is somebody who makes singing look easy, and she’s not afraid to showcase her vocal gymnastics on the new track.
Speaking with Forbes, Jessie has said: “I’m still writing and I’m still creating. There’s so much that’s to come. But when it happens, I think people are gonna be happy that I didn’t tell them about it too prematurely. It will be, it will be, it will be… I don’t know. The thing is, I don’t know. But I know it’s there, and I know I’ve said that recently.”
