Kanye West is in trouble after releasing new album 'The Life of Pablo' at his fashion event, after lyrics were revealed in his track 'Famous' ripping into Taylor Swift through misogynistic lyrics.

Playing the song at Madison Square Garden, one lyric says: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous."

Swift's publicist responded and told Buzzfeed: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account.

"She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous'."

This comes after Swift last year presented Kanye with the MTV Video Vanguard award, with the pair seemingly putting their rocky past behind them and moving on.

Swift's brother Austin has now uploaded a video to his Instagram account in response to the lyrics, showing him throwing his Yeezy sneakers away.

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

Both Calvin Harris and Selena Gomez have liked the video on the social media website, with Calvin also commenting: "LOOOOOOOOOOL".

Fans have also responded to the diss via social media, with one directly addressing Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian-West.

Kim wrote: "Can we just talk about the fact that my husband had a sold out fashion show/listening party at Madison Square Garden?!?!?!?! #ProudWifeTweet". What she probably didn't expect is a user called swiftstrong to reply...

"No Kimberly, we can't. But we can talk about the fact that he degraded a woman who has been nothing but nice and forgiving to him when she sure as hell did not have to. Or we can talk about the fact that he's sexualizing another woman despite the fact that he has a wife and a young daughter. Or we can talk about the fact that the Taylor that he claims to have made famous was literally accepting an award while he interrupted her. So no Kimberly. We f**king can't."

One Twitter user even pointed out the following on the website:

Ruby Rose, Gigi Hadid and Jaime King all also responded to the lyrics.
