Signing a deal with Warner/Chappell, the Managing Director of Warner/Chappell Music UK, Mike Smith comments: "I am so pleased to be able to welcome Liam to the Warner/Chappell family. He is one of the greatest rock 'n' roll stars that this country has ever produced. It is thrilling to see him develop as a writer and these songs will take him to new levels of success and recognition."

Despite the plans to go solo, Liam is still open to reuniting the band that made him famous with his brother Noel, Oasis, with bookies even suspending betting on the group getting back together in 2017 as rumours gather momentum.

Reports claimed that Ride were booked to support the band at a series of shows, but the group later denied this.
