Great White Manager Writes To Relatives Of Fire Victims.GREAT WHITE's former tour manager, who in February (06) plead guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter relating to a nightclub fire, has handwritten letters of apology to the relatives of all the victims.DANIEL BIECHELE has passed his personalised letters to a judge. They will be handed over to family members after his sentencing next month (08MAY06).His lawyer TOM BRIODY says, "Mr Biechele feels genuine sorrow at what happened in this case, and he's been wanting to say something to the victims for a long time."Biechele was originally indicted on 200 counts of involuntary manslaughter for unintentionally starting a fire when he ignited pyrotechnics during a Great White concert in April 2003.The blaze burned down the Station nightclub in Rhode Island, killing 100 people and injuring more than 200 others. As a result of his guilty plea, prosecutors have agreed to a maximum prison sentence of 10 years. But DIANE MATTERA, who lost her 29-year-old daughter TAMMY in the fire, believes a letter of apology isn't enough. She says, "He is a direct link to the cause of the accident that took 100 lives and maimed over 200 other people. How is a letter going to change that?
"I know he did not set out that evening to do any kind of damage whatsoever, but what good is a letter of apology?".
