Nicki Minaj is to release a documentary surrounding the creation of her new album later this month, describing it as an "emotional rollercoaster".

Following the official release in December of 'The Pinkprint', Nicki's going to give fans an insight into her personal and professional struggles in one-off programme 'Nicki Minaj: My Time Again'.

Confirming the news via her Twitter account, she wrote: "I can finally share this! Here's the trailer for my new @MTV doc #MyTimeAGAIN! (sic)."

The teaser trailer for the show sees the rapper hint that the documentary could look into her 2014 personal heartbreak, when she split from boyfriend of 12 years Safaree Samuels.

As well as this, she's seen describing her time so far in the music industry as something "no-one could prepare" her for.

The 32-year-old star released a similar documentary, 'My Time Now', in 2010, which chronicled her rise to stardom and followed her as she geared up for the release of 'Pink Friday' which spawned the singles 'Roman's Revenge', 'Fly' and 'Moment 4 Life'.

The documentary airs on January 18 in America.
