Motley Crue alum Nikki Sixx has said there's not a chance another album from the band will be released, with the group originally splitting back in 2014 when he, along with bandmates Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee signed an agreement to ensure none of the band could individually revive their name for future shows.

Despite Neil previously hinting new material could come from the band in an interview with The Oakland Press, Sixx has other ideas. Neil had said:

"We've never said we were breaking up; we just said we're not touring anymore. We're gonna be definitely making more music together for different projects and stuff. But right now we're really just focused on doing these shows this year and finishing with a bang."

Speaking to TeamRock however, Sixx seemed to shoot down those claims:

"[We] couldn't write music anymore [and] it's time for it to go."

"I'm still close with Vince [but there will be] no tour, nothing, no chance of another record."

"I want to just leave it intact. I see no reason. We couldn't be creative as a band, so how the hell can we continue? But I'm glad the way it finished - we did it all, we did what we said we were going to do, and now I'm excited about the future."
