Sir Paul McCartney has signed a new deal with Capitol Records.

The 74-year-old musician is returning to the label where he started his solo career with the "historic deal", which will include his all of his recordings since the 1970 'McCartney' album.
Paul said: "This is genuinely exciting for me. Not only was Capitol my first US record label, but the first record I ever bought was Gene Vincent's 'Be-Bop-A-Lula' on the Capitol label."
Paul is also working on a new album with the label.

Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge added: "This is a homecoming of one of the greatest musical artists of all time to the label that first helped bring his incredible music to the world.
