Primal Scream’s ninth LP ‘Beautiful Future’ has now been released as a deluxe box set, packed with exclusive content and fantastic limited edition extras.‘Beautiful Future: Boxed Edition 2008’ contains the following:* ‘Beautiful Future’ album, over two heavyweight 180 gsm vinyl LPs * Additional 12” including exclusive Andrew Weatherall remix of ”Uptown” * 12-page fully illustrated booklet * Exclusive, limited edition Beautiful Future cinematic poster * Credit panel, foil blocked on red, mirrored paper ‘Beautiful Future’ is Primal Scream’s ninth studio album and their first for B-Unique. The bulk of the album was produced by Björn Yttling [Peter, Björn and John] and Paul Epworth (Bloc Party) including the incredible first single ‘Can’t Go Back’ which was out in July.Primal Scream have made a fantastic start to the summer festival season. After playing an incendiary double-header with MC5 at Meltdown, Bobby and co. put in superb performances at both Hop Farm (special guests of Neil Young) and T in the Park. The band are to embark on a full UK tour as part of the NME Rock’n’Roll Riot tour across November and December.
