Speaking to the Daily Star an insider said: "Glastonbury is just one of the possible destination. The band would love to have a go."

The group have never played the festival but it could happen following their UK arena tour in January.

Adam recently revealed he isn't forced to emulate Freddie Mercury on-stage and has full control over his style.

In a chat with The Sun newspaper he said: "Brian May said Freddie would get a big kick out of me, and as a huge fan of Freddie, that meant the world to me.

"But styling-wise it's all up to me and I like to have a bit of fun with that."
