Top Rock Photographer Macnaughtan Dies

Rush's longtime photographer ANDREW MacNAUGHTAN has died after suffering a heart attack in Los Angeles.

The snapper was with the Canadian rockers when he died.

A statement from the band reads, "We're deeply shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of our close friend and longtime photographer, Andrew MacNaughtan. He was a sweet person and a very talented artist. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed".

MacNaughtan's photos inspired an HIVAIDS fundraising campaign in 2010 when artists like Rush pals Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Celine Dion, Michael Buble and Annie Lennox gave their voices to a video montage of his images.
