The duo - who took Mike Posner's acoustic song and transformed it into a pop sensation which has now spent four weeks at number one in the UK - were asked to take the British group's 2015 hit and work their magic on Chris Martin and Beyoncé Knowles' vocals.

Speaking about their overnight success, SeeB - which consists of Norwegian producers Simen Eriksrud and Espen Berg - are delighted it has "opened doors" for them.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Simen revealed: "It has opened a lot of doors, of course. We've just been contacted by Warner and they want us to remix a Coldplay song ... It's 'Hymn For The Weekend'.

"His record label reached out to ours and that's how we got the request but I also saw a snippet of Chris Martin online in an interview saying that he is really obsessed with 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza' and I guess he personally wanted us to remix his song."

Rising stars SeeB have just released their first single 'Breathe' on Spotify which has garnered over 12 million listens on the music streaming platform.

They plan to steadily release new material over the forthcoming year however Simen, 45, and Espen, 40, are excited to be tasked with reworking the second single from Coldplay's 2015 album 'A Head Full of Dreams'.

Simen added: "It's amazing just listening to Chris Martin's vocals and Beyoncé's vocals and just being able to do whatever you want to do because that's what remixing is all about, being creative... you can hear why Chris is a superstar."
