The smash single from the 26-year-old singer/songwriter's latest LP 'Divide' has spent three weeks sitting comfortably at number six in the Official UK Chart, but it could be about to shift even higher with the updated Latin version due for release on December 1.

The 'Castle on the Hill' hitmaker has teased that he'll unveil the top secret featured artist next Thursday (30.11.17).

In an interview with Channel 4 Radio in the United Arab Emirates, Ed revealed: "I've got something dropping next Friday. It's a really f***ing big deal. And I'll drop who I'm doing it with next Thursday."

Asked what it will sound like, he said: "The vibe is that it's a remix to 'Perfect'. I'm just basically going to 'Despacito' Perfect."

The remix news comes after the 'Shape of You' hitmaker played his final concert of the year at Dubai's Autism Rocks Arena last night (23.11.17).

Before hitting the stage, the 26-year-old megastar enjoyed the tasty meal at Rihanna's favourite joint Miss Lily's, which is located at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in the city.

According to The National, the 'Shape of You' singer - who claimed he and his support act on the US leg, James Blunt, devoured 1,000 chicken wings between them on the road - ordered jerk corn, hot pepper shrimp and jerk chicken.

During his two-hour performance at the arena, Ed told the crowd he "didn't expect to be on stage" after his cycling accident last month which saw him break both his arms.

However, the 'Castle on the Hill' hitmaker said the accident hasn't put him off wanting to ride again because there was nothing about the painful incident that could have been prevented.

Asked if he has a phobia of bicycles now, he said recently: "No, I think that's the wrong way to live. I'm going to ride bicycles again, I'm going to ski, I'm going to go on skateboards.

" If I'm going to break my arm then I'm going to break my arm, nothing's going to stop me from having accidents."
