Sinead O'Connor is embroiled in controversy once more, after blasting Kim Kardashian as a "c*nt" for being on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

Taking to her Facebook page, she writes: "What is this c*nt ("I don't smile much because it causes wrinkles") doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f**king horrified. #BoycottRollingStone #AGenerationIsBeingGroomedAndSilenced".

Though many of her fans on the page seemed to agree with her, some did call her out on her choice of words for Kim.

One particular fan chose to address her thoughts about Bob Dylan, writing: "Bob Dylan released an album which could only be bought at Starbucks. I don't think Bob Dylan would be as horrified as you think. Rolling Stone is about selling magazines."

They earned a reply from Sinead, who wrote: "Key words here are "released an album"".

Another fan wrote: "Let's not pretend that this is the first non-musician or even first reality star to be on the cover of rolling stone. Rolling stone hasn't been about the music for a long time now. Get over yourself."

This isn't the first time O'Connor has made her strong views known, after she wrote an open letter to Miley Cyrus in 2013.

Miley had just released her single 'Wrecking Ball' and the accompanying music video, but Sinead wasn't impressed and said that she should "send a healthier message to her peers" and respect herself by staying dressed.
