Corey Taylor of Slipknot has blasted Kanye West following his boastful comment at Glastonbury Festival this year that he was the "greatest living rock star" on the planet.

Telling the rapper to "stop it" following the proclamations, he sent out a video message to the artist.

Speaking to Music Choice, Taylor commented: "You are not the greatest living rock star of all time. The fact that you had to tell people that kind of says it all.

"You remind me of the guy that brags about p***y - they never get as much as they brag about. Stop it!"

Meanwhile, Mark Ronson had previously spoken out to say he was left feeling underwhelmed following Kanye's headline performance.

The Pyramid Stage show featured an unplanned stage invasion from comedian Lee Nelson who wore a shirt saying 'Leezus', as well as a planned stunt in a cherry picker.
