Take That

Take That

Take That are going to perform at the 2015 BRIT Awards.

Now a trio comprised of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, the group are "planning something special" for their performance, which is to be their first time singing at the event since Jason Orange's departure last year.

Gary explained to The Sun newspaper: "We know what a big deal performing at the Brits is, so we are definitely planning something special at the moment."

Having released their seventh studio album 'III' last year, Take That have performed five times at the event in the past, standing on a spaceship in 2009 and bringing riot police onto the stage in 2011.

A BRITs source added: "It's too early to say exactly what they'll do but if you look at the last two times they performed they stole the show."

Though they may be hoping to top previous performances, Gary hasn't yet decided what they'll be doing on stage, but admitted other acts could be brought out to sing with them.

"We haven't decided exactly what yet but we're thinking about some sort of collaboration or a big surprise."

Despite their snub in the list of nominations, the eight-time winners are to perform at the ceremony on February 25 at London's O2 arena alongside the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
