Tom Odell has said he would like to star as Sir Elton John in a film biopic.
The piano playing 'Another Love' star would love to appear as the iconic singer in a movie, although he's unsure about dyeing his blond hair ginger to emulate Elton's style.
When asked about changing his hair colour for a movie, he said: "Maybe, I'd have to mull on that for a little bit."
The 22-year-old star has become friends with the flamboyant star since they performed together at the iTunes Festival on October 12, performing Elton's 'Tiny Dancer'.
Speaking at the Q Awards in London yesterday (21.10.10), Tom told BANG Showbiz: "He's my all time idol, I think I'd almost count him as a friend now, he's very cool, he's very supportive and it's been very nice getting to know him.
"I've seen him a little bit, it's cool. He's a legend in every essence of the word, I can't even believe that those exist, it's very, very cool to be associated with someone that I look up to so much".
Tom says Elton, 66, also advised him to record with a live band in the studio, rather than to build his songs up part by part and use session musicians.
He added: "He really likes what I'm doing with the band so he was like I should do a record with them and that's what I'm gonna do ... it's just nice to get that kind of confidence from someone."
