The hip-hop outfit - which consists of rappers 50 Cent, The Game, Young Buck, Tony Yao, Lloyd Banks and Kidd Kidd - could be set to make a comeback after Jackson shared pictures at DJ Drama's video shoot for his new single 'Wishing' on Tuesday (10.05.16), where 50 Cent and The Game were present.

Blood Money Entertainment star Jackson captioned a video clip from the shoot and said that "G-UNIT are joining forces again" for a 'Straight Outta Compton' style video and teased that the 'Stunt 101' hitmakers could get back together, whilst also claiming they broke up because of "egos".

Alongside the black and white clip, he wrote on Instagram: "The BEATLES AKA G-UNIT are joining forces again .. "STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON" the movie captivated the Globe.... NOW what's gone happen when we do the "G-UNIT" movie with all the drama... G-UNIT aka the Hip-Hop Beatles Took OVER THE WORLD, BUT EGOS CAUSED THEM TO BREAK UP PREMATURELY... #gunite #winnerscircle #bloodmoney #gunit #thegame #50cent #youngbuck #lloydbanks #tonyyao #kiddkid #kingpharaoh #skemetheduke #wack100 #gmajic #nujerzeydevil #john316official (sic)"

The news of a G-Unit revival may come as a surprise as 'Candy Shop' star 50 - real name Curtis Jackson - and The Game, also known as Jayceon Terrell Taylor, have long been rivals, but have showed signs of making up in recent months.

Addressing their relationship, The Game previously wrote on Instagram: "As for me & you 50 ... Our past has proven we could both get on some gangsta sh** if need be ... If you choose to ignore the GROWN MAN approach & continue to harbor HATE for me & my side... That's your decision (sic)"

The group released several singles in 2014 and their last release was the EP 'The Beast Is G Unit', which was released on social media in January 2015.
