This isn't going to be her next 'Just Dance' or 'Bad Romance', but in fact a confrontation of one of the biggest issues plaguing the world; sexual assault.
Written by Diane Warren and Lady Gaga, 'Til It Happens To You' is the new Lady Gaga single from movie The Hunting Ground which aims to raise money for organisations helping survivors of sexual assault.
Directed by Catherine Hardwicke and featuring a slew of young talent, the video tackles the taboo surrounding sexual assault and its victims head-on in a harrowing but eye-opening manner. When the facts are presented to you in such a way, they're hard to ignore.
The video ends with the message: "One in five college women will be sexually assaulted this year unless something changes.
"For help call National Sexual Assault Hotline 1-800-656-HOPE."
'Til It Happens To You' is available for download now, with a portion of proceeds being donated to sexual assault aid organisations.
