Alesha Dixon's single single

Alesha Dixon's last single has ruined her love life.

The single star says her hit track 'The Boy Does Nothing' - which features the lyrics "Does he wash up? Never wash up. Does he clean up? No he never cleans up" - has stopped men from approaching her because they think she will nag them all the time.

Alesha said: "I think it's probably put men off me - they probably think that I expect them to wash up and clean up after me. They probably think, 'Oh God, I better stay away from her!' It's not really helping with my single status at the moment!"

The singer also revealed she was embarrassed when shooting the video for her forthcoming single 'Breathe Slow'.

She explained to gossip website Digital Spy: "It was quite embarrassing because I had to walk down the Vegas strip in this tiny little silver dress. There were no extras so I felt pretty self-conscious.

"The Ricky Hatton fight was on at the same time so there were some English lads being all lairy, saying, 'Alwight Alesha'. After the first take I got into it, but it was pretty hard to stay focused on the camera all the time."

'Breathe Slow' is released on February 9.
