Queen are to be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Their 1977 double A-side single 'We Are The Champions'/ 'We Will Rock You' will be given the prestigious honour - along with 27 other compositions - on Saturday 6 December.
The Police's 'Synchronicity', 'For Once In My Life' by Stevie Wonder, 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Jimi Hendrix's version of 'The Star Spangled Banner' will also join the elite club.
The Hall of Fame, which was created in 1973 and includes 826 recordings, is set to become part of Los Angeles' Grammy Museum when it opens next weekend, with the museum featuring a host of exhibitions about various music genres.
New submissions to the Hall of Fame are chosen annually by a special committee of experts and historians drawn from all branches of the recording arts.
