Peter Gabriel has "no objection" to a full Genesis reunion.
The group's former frontman declined not to take part in the band 2007 20-date world tour, but insists he would still consider performing again with drummer Phil Collins - who took on vocal duties following the 'Sledgehammer' singer's departure - bassist Mike Rutherford and guitarist Tony Banks.
He is quoted as saying: "In principle I have no real objection to playing with Genesis at some point in the future."
When the band last performed together, Peter said he was "happy" for the rest of the group to go on the road but he wanted to concentrate on his own material.
The singer hasn't performed with Genesis since his departure in 1975, eight years after the band formed.
