Kaiser Chiefs are collaborating with Duran Duran.
The 'Never Miss A Beat' rockers' keyboardist Nick 'Peanut' Baines was invited down to the studio by producer Mark Ronson to help with the 80s pop superstars' forthcoming album because he believes they are similar.
Mark said: "I called Nick a week ago and asked if he'd be interested in coming to work with Duran Duran and write a song.
"He's never done that before, because he only writes with his own band, but I thought it made a lot of sense because there's a lot of Kaiser Chiefs songs I could imagine being on a Duran Duran record 25 years ago."
One is quite rocky, one is more disco. Two of them I would definitely say are making the record.
According to the producer, the sessions were successful and at least two of the three collaborations will feature on Duran Duran's album.
He added to NME.com: "One is quite rocky, one is more disco. Two of them I would definitely say are making the record."
