Leslie Loh wants an "interesting" collaboration with Alicia Keys.

The Hong Kong-born singer believes that although her style of music is radically different to the 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker, their classical backgrounds would help them combine for a perfect duet.

I've always wondered what it would sound like for Alicia, who plays piano, with me on piano or a violin. Obviously she is more R'n'B and my sentiment is closer to rock, so a collaboration would be interesting.

Leslie said: "One person I would love to work with is Alicia Keys. I know it's normal to get similar styles with a collaboration - like her work with Jay-Z - but I think it could work well.

Despite her background, Leslie says she has always been drawn toward a rock performance.

She explained to BANG Showbiz: "I've been trained in the classical field since I was about three and I've always appreciated live music so I always craved singing with a band, and rock gave me more of an opportunity which I could relate to.

"I was playing electric violin, which also lends itself to electric guitar riffs. I didn't really pick a style, it just happens - the orchestra strings and cinematic composition works more with the rock element."

Leslie's album, 'Metamothosis', is out now.
