Muse want to write a 'James Bond' theme.
The 'Black Holes and Revelations' trio would love the chance to create a soundtrack for the next movie in the iconic British spy franchise - but only if they like the film director.
Drummer Dom Howard said: "It's something we'd probably say yes to, or at least give it a good go. Certainly some of our music fits with the James Bond vibe - and I think it could work.
I know Matt went to see 'We Will Rock You', the Queen musical, and it made him think, 'Oh it'd be great to do something like that'
"'United States Of Eurasia' - from our new album 'The Resistance' - could have worked but it's probably a bit late for that now.
"It's a bit weird in the Hollywood world, because you spend a lot time being told what to do and that's a bit of a pain because we like to do what we want. So, I think if you can find a director you can really relate to and it's a great film and you know you can work well together, then it could be a possibility."
As well as composing movie scores, the band are also interested in creating their own stage show.
Dom said: "It's definitely something we've talked about. I know Matt went to see 'We Will Rock You', the Queen musical, and it made him think, 'Oh it'd be great to do something like that'.
"But the trouble is with things like that, it's obviously finding the time. If we were to turn round and say we want to do a musical, we could pretty much wipe out four years of touring, which would be a shame."
