Johnny Borrell needs to get a haircut to save his career.

The singer's band Razorlight have been rocked by the departure of drummer Andy Burrows and disappointing sales of their third album 'Slipway Fires' but Stereophonics star Kelly Jones has suggested the frontman have a make-over in order to boost the 'America' stars' chances of surviving.

The 'Bartender and the Thief' singer - whose own band struggled around the release of third album 'Just Enough Education to Perform' - said he is looking forward to co-headlining the Isle of Wight festival with Razorlight, if the rockers ever make it that far.

He told MTV: "If there's any band members left by that point... he reminds me of where we were with our third album… in f**king trouble!"
