Richard Ashcroft will play his only UK show at Hop Farm Festival in Kent.
The 'Break the Night with Colour' hitmaker - formerly lead singer of The Verve - is among a large number of acts to be confirmed for the three-day event, with Kool and the Gang, Gary Numan and The Futurheads also taking part.
Television presenter Sir Bruce Forsyth will also be taking part in his first ever festival performance.
Hop Farm promoter Vince Power is excited by the bill and hopes fans will be too.
He said: "I'm very happy with the bill. We have yet again put together a unique line-up of acts you're not going to see repeated anywhere else. We have some true legends including Patti Smith and Randy Crawford and I think that's what music fans look for; a well thought out bill which is the best value festival this year at £162 for 3 days, 4 days camping with no added extras."
Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel and The Levellers will also take part.
Hop Farm Festival runs from June 29 to July 1.
