Slash is "glad" Guns N' Roses are releasing a new album.
The 'Sweet Child o' Mine' hitmakers are set to release 'Chinese Democracy' after 14 years in the making and their former guitarist - who quit the band in 1996 because of rumoured creative differences with frontman Axl Rose - says he is happy it is finally set to go on sale.
Slash said: "I'm glad it's finally coming out after all this time. It's good to hear Axl's voice again. That's what's cool."

The musician, who now plays with Velvet Revolver, also refused to rule out a return to the group where he made his name.
Asked if he would rejoin the band, he replied: "You know what? Everybody asks the same question. But how the f**k would I know?"
'Chinese Democracy', which is rumoured to have cost Axl Rose over £2million to make, will be released later this month.
