T-Pain is planning to get Adele to duet with him no his single '5 O'Clock' at the Grammy Awards.

T-Pain is planning to get Adele to duet with him at the Grammy Awards.

The rapper collaborated with Lily Allen for his latest single '5 O'Clock', but as she has just had a baby it is unlikely she will be able to make it to perform her part at the Grammy Awards in February next year, so he is hoping he can persuade Adele to join him instead.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "As soon as Lily is ready I want to get her to perform with me, but if she can't make it for the Grammys then I'm going to try and get Adele to sing it. I haven't met her yet, but I'd love to. She is one of my favourite artists right now."

He also said Adele's latest album '21' - released in January and hotly tipped to receive a number of nominations at next year's Grammys - is guaranteed to cheer him up despite its lyrical themes of love and loss.

He said: "Any time I'm having a bad day I listen to '21' all the time."

'5 O'Clock' is released on December 4 and T-Pain's album, 'rEVOLVEr', is out on December 5.
