The Ting Tings singer Katie White doesn't care if the band are one-hit wonders.
Their re-released single, 'That's Not My Name', is currently receiving heavy radio play and critics have warned the band face becoming mainstream one-hit wonders, pointing to the success The Gossip had with 'Standing in the Way Of Control' last summer.
However, Katie says she doesn't mind, insisting: "I don't care.
Katie has also revealed the inspiration behind the song.
"I love 'That's Not My Name', it's such a tune! That's the one in the set everyone went nuts to."
Katie has also revealed the inspiration behind the song.
"I went to school with a girl called Stacey Pike. Because my name is Katie White, everyone just called me Stacey Pike. I was like, 'But that's not my name, I'm not that forgettable am I?'
"That's part of it, it's also about being pigeon holed and written off, what I was going through at the time."
The Ting Tings release their album, 'We Started Nothing', on May 19.
