Thom Yorke has formed a new supergroup.
The Radiohead frontman has announced plans for two concerts with his unnamed band, which features Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, REM collaborator Joey Waronker, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Mauro Refosco, and long-term producer Nigel Godrich next week.
We don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well ...we haven't got that much material yet. (sic)
The group will play Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre on October 4 and 5, but the singer admits he is unsure of what they will perform, apart from some tracks from his 2006 solo album 'The Eraser'
Thom wrote on his blog: "In the past couple of weeks I've been getting a band together for fun to play 'The Eraser' stuff live and the new songs etc, to see if it could work.
