Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir have recorded a version of 'Good Times' by Chic for Festival No.6.

The choir were a huge success last year when they performed 'Blue Monday' by New Order and have been asked back again to the festival - which is held in Portmeirion, Wales, near to where the choir are based - to take on another classic track, celebrating this year's performance by Chic with Nile Rodgers.

A spokesperson for the festival said: "After the success of their astounding version of 'Blue Monday' by New Order last year, The Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir were once again approached by Festival No.6 to bring their magic to the line up. They performed the biggest selling 12" single of all time throughout the festival and this year will be making a welcome return. "

The 60 strong choir was started in 1964, and has regularly competed in competitions across the UK. The have made many television appearances, and appeared alongside performers including Shirley Bassey, Harry Seacombe, The Black Dyke Mills Band and Bryn Terfel.

Festival No.6 - which will feature sets by Chic, My Bloody Valentine and Manic Street Preachers among many others - takes place on September 13 to 15th. Tickets are available from Festivalnumber6.com
